So Mysterious Girlfriend X (Or Nazo no Kanojo X if you prefer). Oh boy, where do I even begin? This is the kind of show that definitely falls under the “WTF JAPAN!!?!?!” category. On the outside, it seems like a fairly nice romantic anime between two loner Japanese students, but it has this really weird twist to it and I really don’t think I’m a fan.

I was going to start this blog with a series of words that simulated me banging my head against a table, because so many things in Upotte drive me to do so. However, since I watched Nazo no Kanojo X immediately after this, I realized that as bad as this show is, there are much worse, and I have lost my will to make such a joke.

*sigh* So onto Sakarea. Let me honest here, over the past couple of years I have grown increasingly tired of zombies. As characters, they have no redeeming traits and only serve as a horde of cannon fodder for would be heroes to survive from, yet we keep seeing them show up everywhere.

Drama, it’s all drama drama drama with these high school girls. Natsuiro Kiseki reminds me one of the reasons I’m glad I left high school behind. I hate drama.
