Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica

The only things guaranteed in life are death and taxes, and I very much doubt this show is about taxes.

Since Aniplex was the one who ended up licensing the series what’s your take on that?

  • Arkada

Basically as long as the DVD’s aren’t as freaking expensive as Durarara then I’ll live.

I love this anime I own all of the episodes on a BlueRayDisk.

I love this anime, it starts so innocent but then turn so fantastically dark. All I can say is that when something with glowing red eyes that look like a reject from Pokemon offer you a Faustian deal you better think twice before answering. :P

I am also so anoyed that your review got pulled of YouTube, what is the point, reviews is free advertisement for the companies that make and publish anime. I mean I have bought quite a number of anime sets after watching a review about them, it is just stupid to try to pull them off YouTube for using a clip here and there, that is tossing away free advertisement and that is just stupid.

Some things get pulled for the wrong reasons, sometimes I’ve had stuff pulled that Youtube just did by itself because it identified content that belonged to the Anime owners (Being the footage) and just removed it on their own. Which is annoying when I do a quick search and find that while my 10 minute review containing maybe 3 minutes max of footage was removed, I could go onto YouTube and watch fully UN-editied episodes of the anime in question.

I agree and if it is some sort of automatic thing done by YouTube then it get even more insane, perhaps they should then take the time to check what is being actually shown and for what. Also, and I might be wrong here, but with books you are allowed to reprint snippets for review purposes do the same rules apply to film? For if so then snippets in a review is not even illegal, it is not copyright infringement.

    Hmmm… What’s that anime shown at 0:30?

Anyways, you always choose awesome anime to review. :D (well, mostly, but that’s just my personal aversion to super-shounen and super-shoujo, but that’s not the point.) I tried to spot the differences, but I couldn’t remember what they were. -_-’ But looking back at this review, I can’t believe how many spoiler clips you put in. Seriously.

(Haha, FMA.) While I didn’t think MSMM was that… scary, persay, and Kyuubi wasn’t entirely unrelatable (well, I could understand where it was coming from), it still has a pretty big shock value.

  • Socce3r6

Ahhh, shoot, I forgot to add this, if you like shows that are like MSMM in the whole ‘holy shit I understand everything that happened in episode 1 now!’ theme, watch Stein’s Gate. Seriously, it’s amazing. (Unless you’ve already watched it.)

But, the Law of Equivalent Exchange only involved alchemy. Not actual life.
